tides rise, skies darken whip lash of thunder cries tears of rain, mournful demise missing moments stolen from a child eyes dry a breath quietly sighs a cough, signs of life, alive unrequited love leads a girl to despise a love letter strewn on the ground at her feet pages whipped in the storm like moth wings drawings drawn tenderly, lost, never seen of spaces filled in the lonely void of a boy child's heartbeat
